Business Development Strategy
The Business Development department has a wide-ranging remit; essentially we develop new initiatives and provide fundraising, consultancy and financial services for Queens Cross Housing Association (QXHA).
At present we are primarily focused on progressing QXHA's involvement with the Glasgow Housing association (GHA) stock transfer.
As QXHA is the designated LHO for South Maryhill, Dundasvale/Cromwell/Burnbank and Hamiltonhill, our team is developing proposals for Second Stage Transfer, the ultimate aim being ownership of the stock. Our full support is given to the area committees, ensuring tenant involvement in stock management.
We are also linked to the Association’s sister company, Queens Cross Workspace, this is a separate economic development company providing premises for businesses in the local area. The Workspace develops, manages and maintains properties that range from basic storage facilities to office premises accommodating the headquarters of national charities.
Queens Cross Workspace is a separate charitable company.
